New PET recycling plant to be developed in Australia

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is committed to creating a circular economy for PET plastic.  

CCEP in Australia has agreed an exciting new joint venture to build and operate a PET plastic recycling facility, expected to process around one billion bottles per year to produce around 20,000 tonnes of recycled PET bottles and food packaging.  

We’re delighted to work in partnership with industry to drive systemic change, increasing both plastics collection and recycling capacity and providing a model for recycling solutions in Australia.
