Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) reinforced its commitment to water stewardship by launching the "WE Campaign" and organizing the inaugural "WE Walk Day" across its operations in Indonesia to commemorate World Water Day 2024. Aligning with this year's theme, "Water for Peace," the initiative underscored CCEP's dedication to sustainable water management practices.

"Water is a vital resource for our business and entire value chain," said Diem Nguyen, Supply Chain Director at CCEP Indonesia. "The 'WE Walk Day' aimed to raise awareness about water and energy conservation while fostering a strong water-saving culture among our employees."

The event featured a Sustainability Talk on "Water Conservation in the Face of Climate Change" in collaboration with Yayasan Rumah Energi and ReservoAir, two organizations dedicated to promoting sustainable practices. Employees actively participated in hands-on activities, including biopore making for water replenishment, gemba walks to identify improvement areas, and group discussions for collaborative solutions.

Setting the tone for the event were PACS Director Lucia Karina, Head of Manufacturing Sergio Ferre Aguilera, and Head of QESH Ikhsan Novembrianto, who reaffirmed our commitment towards water stewardship.

"Through our value chain approach, we are determined to reduce water consumption, protect local water sources, and replenish this vital resource for future generations," said Sergio Ferre Aguilera. "Our efforts contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6, ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all."

As CCEP continues to invest in our planet, we encourage all employees to share their thoughts and ideas on sustainable water practices, further strengthening the organization's efforts towards water stewardship and a more sustainable future.
